MY STORY

From an early age, I was no stranger to financial stress. I remember my mother, a stay-at-home mom with little financial experience, often overwhelmed by the complexities of managing our family’s finances. My father had always handled everything—until his sudden passing left her to manage multiple properties, businesses, and assets, all without the education or guidance she needed.

Unfortunately, she placed her trust in the wrong people, which left her with three children, a mountain of debt, and no choice but to return to the workforce at minimum wage just to make ends meet. I saw firsthand the anxiety, stress, and tears that financial hardship brings to a family. When I asked her why she didn’t seek help from a financial advisor, she would say, "I can't afford one." That statement stuck with me.

My mother instilled in me the importance of independence, education, and integrity, and I knew from a young age that I never wanted to find myself in a similar situation. At 17, I graduated high school and pursued my passion by attending The Ohio State University, where I earned a degree in Finance with a minor in Economics. During my studies, I worked part-time for financial advisors, learning the industry inside and out.

MY MISSION

Upon graduating, my mission became clear: I wanted to help people like my parents—hardworking individuals who, like my mother, may not have had the resources or confidence to seek financial guidance. I spent over a decade gaining experience and in 2011, I took the leap and launched my own independent firm under the umbrella of Stratos Wealth Partners/LPL Financial.

Today, I’m not just a financial advisor, I’m a mom, a wife, and a proud owner of an ornery French Bulldog named Boss. My husband and I are raising two wonderful sons, and as a mother, I am committed to passing down the values I hold dear: hard work, education, and integrity. I’m also dedicated to teaching them the fundamentals of financial planning—saving, budgeting, investing—so they grow up with the financial confidence my family once lacked.
